How do I attend your auditions?If your child is interested in auditioning for one of our shows, please head to our 'Open Auditions' page for more information or click here. There will be an audition form to fill out to book a slot. All of our auditions are OPEN AUDITIONS meaning anyone can attend!

What do I bring to auditions?All you need to bring to an audition is comfortable clothing/footwear and a drink. Our open auditions are located in theatre's across Essex and most have an onsite cafe where drinks & food can be purchased.

What happens in the auditions and how long do they take?Our productions are always at the highest quality possible. On arrival you will be greeted by our Front of House team who will assign your child a number and ask a parent or guardian to fill out a contact and information form. The audition will comprise of three sections: Dance - Our Choreographer will teach a short routine which you will learn and perform in groups. Don’t worry if you don't have dance experience before, just try your best! We want to make sure you have moves Signing - Our vocal coach will teach you a short segment from the show and in groups you will sing through in groups. If required, you may be asked to sing solo. Acting - Our Director in groups will teach you a short dialogue section in the show and in groups you will perform this together! Just pretend you are on stage and give it your all. Please ensure you have the correct footwear suitable for the audition and please bring a drink/snack. The audition should last no longer than one to two hours, you may be required to stay behind for a recall but we will communicate this on the audition day if required.

When will I know if I am successful?What happens next? After the audition, our casting team will decide who is part of the show - if you are successful, we will email or call you. If your child is successfully cast into the show, you will be required to attend a minimum of 12 rehearsals, the rehearsals will be in the area of the show (For example Basildon if at The Towngate Theatre) and will be close to the local theatre. Rehearsals will normally be on a Sunday, but this may change. All communication will be via a WhatsApp group that will be created with all parents/guardians.

How much does it cost to take part?We charge a one off fee for our shows, the fee includes all rehearsals, our professional creative team, venue hire e.t.c is £185 per child for our large scale shows and £110 for our JR shows - this can be split into two or three payments. If you have multiple children there is a discount available, please contact us for more information.

Do we have to sell tickets?To make our shows high quality we invest money into the production of all of our shows. All of our shows feature a "live" band and professional Westend musicians. We do not enforce a certain number of tickets per person rule, all we ask is that you bring everyone! 😉 The more people that are at performances the more it enhances our shows performances and atmosphere. Imagine performing to an empty theatre?
